When people would ask me if we are short of midfielders my initial reaction would be: “Absolutely not. We’re loaded with midfielders!” But if you look beyond the nucleus of midfielders there’s a significant imbalance in the midfield options on hand. Clearly we need better wingers to provide both cover and (to some extent) competition to the current wingers. Another thing we lack is a playmaker that can come on either due to injury woes or to change the game. In this episode of “The Window” we will cover some exciting midfield prospects.

With Christmas approaching fast most football fans will already be anticipating one of the most frantic moments of the football calendar: The January transfer window.
