Kyle Naughton has signed a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur which will run until 2016.
The versatile full-back joined Spurs in July 2009 from Sheffield United along with fellow former Blade Kyle Walker.
Naughton made his Spurs debut as a substitute during a 2-1 away win at West Ham on 23 August, 2009.
After loan spells at Middlesbrough and Leicester City, Naughton enjoyed a successful loan spell at Norwich City last season. He made 32 Premier League appearances for the Canaries.
Former Norwich manager Paul Lambert was keen to bring the young full-back to Aston Villa. Now that Naughton has committed to Spurs the speculation of a possible move to Villa Park has been quashed.
