Both Jon Obika and Harry Kane have been rewarded with a new contract prior to going out on loan to Charlton Athletic and Leicester City respectively.
Harry Kane has signed a new contract until 2017. The 19-year old forward will join Leicester City on loan until the end of the season.
Kane joined Norwich City on loan at the beginning of the season. In February he returned to Spurs after failing to making an impact at Norwich, partly due to a metatarsal injury which saw him sidelined for 2 months.
Kane holds fond memories of the Championship after enjoying a successful loan spell at Millwall last season. He earned praise from both manager Kenny Jackett and Millwall’s supporters which resulted in Kane being named Millwall’s Young Player of the Season 2011-12.
Jon Obika was rewarded with a new contract until 2014. The striker (22) will join Championship side Charlton Athletic for the rest of the season.
Obika has been on target for Spurs in the U21 league, scoring the winner against Liverpool and producing a hat-trick against Manchester United. Last season Obika went on loan to Yeovil Town where he scored 4 goals in 28 appearances.
