Spurs starlet Alex Pritchard has put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half year deal at Tottenham Hotspur.
Pritchard had been linked with a move to Liverpool after his former coach at the Spurs academy, Alex Inglethorpe, moved to the Merseyside club. Pritchard’s contract was also running out this Summer. Earlier last year Spurs rejected an offer by QPR for the 19-year old midfielder.
Pritchard is highly rated by the Academy hierarchy and received rave reviews for his performances in Spurs’ NextGen Series campaign last season. This season the midfielder has made nine appearances for Spurs’ Under-21 side, as well as scoring four goals in four games in the NextGen Series.
Earlier today Spurs announced that Pritchard will join Championship side Peterborough United on loan until the end of the season. Peterborough are currently bottom of the Championship with 26 points from 28 games, 6 points adrift of safety.
